Regulation (EU) 2024/1781 (ESPR) — furniture delegated act
Furniture is named in the ESPR working plan, with requirements expected to focus on material origin, disassembly and recyclability — relevant for manufacturers selling flat-pack, upholstered or structural furniture into the EU.
Ecodesign requirements under ESPR commonly cover reparability and recyclability, and for furniture that largely comes down to whether a piece can be taken apart to repair, replace, or separate materials at end of life.
